Jason Becker: Story of the Paralysed star who composes with his eyes

Jason Becker was born on July 22nd 1969 . At the age of only 16 he met Megadeth guitarist Marty Freidman, together they toured with Shrapnel Records in Japan.
He then kicked off his amazing solo career in 1988 as He and Marty split to do their own things he released the infamous album "Perpetual Burn" which went Gold.
Then in 1991 he landed the biggest gig of his career as lead guitarist for the legendary David Lee-Roth, at that same time he was diagnosed with (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Which paralyzes the whole body and the disease only allows random movements in the body.While recording the 'A little aint enough' album his hands and legs were already slowing down, just one week after he was diagnosed.
Jason can now only communicate through a system of movements in his eyes.
Using this technique Jason has released another three albums.
although he was given 3 years to live Jason still goes strong after 16 years

It is instrumental except the spoken word piece near the end - this was a poem that Cliff wrote before he died The line, "These are the pale deaths which men miscall their lives" comes from the book Lord Foul's Bane, Book One of the series "The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever" by Stephen R. Donaldson. In the book, the main character decides to write a poem to amuse himself.
